My Gears – Ball head update ….

I have recently quite active in wildlifes shooting and make me upgrade my Manfrotto 516 video head to Sachtler FSB8 … and let share overall my experience with my gear …

1. my main landscape ball head – FLM 38FT with FLM QRP70 + LB30 balancer

– it sturdy, good fiction control

– use it for Canon 300mm F2.8 IS2 without any issue

2. standby or travel ball head – FLM 32F with Fotopro standard arca swiss QR system

– good up to 70200 F2.8 lenses portrait mode no issue

– fiction control is good

– light and smaller size

– the QR without safety lock so have to take extra care

a Travel Tripod … Fotopro X4i-E

I love my tripod, so I bring my tripod any where .. as just in case I want to shoot slow shutter on noon time with ~63s .. 😀 e.g.

– GND .9s, – Big Stopper – ND .9s pro glass

and I really trust mine … as show HERE or I normally choose my tripod based HERE

previously I use this (Fotopro M5- mini) for my travel … but some how it give ~60cm height which may not good for use …. and finally this small tripod available … Fotopro X4i-E (which cost on RM3xx) …………..

LONG before extend – 315mm only

about 50% of my camera with my 16-35mm

MAX height after extend – 1335m not far from my MGC-684

one of the best Ultra wide len for Full frame 14-24 F2.8 Nikon have a good option to use GND filters (and only for 14-24 for the moment …how I wish they may for 14L too) ….

it comew ith holder ring system, GND .6h , cleaning cloth, soft len cap ….  and GND .9s, GND .9h, GND .6s available too …
