Reverse GND for 150mm Square filter system

finally we have solution for 150mm square filter system for 150mm system which support Canon 14mm F2.8, TSE17mm, Nikon 14-24 F2.8, Tamron 15-30 F2.8, SAMYANG 14mm F2.8, SIGMA 12-24mm etc.

and some test results from same filter manufacturer but it is on 100mm system [84dot5 RGND 100mm] .

Reverse GND filter – 84dot5mm

As previous discussion, Reverse GND or RGND is a filter very important for sunrise/sunset/dusk/dawn moment… I am officially bringing in another RGND brand 84dot5mm  ….

again let me share some new picture showing how;s the filter balance the exposure

-without Filter and meter on foreground. so the dusk moment sky is over exp

– apply RGND 2 stops … without any HDR, exposure blending, shadow highlight recovery . both foreground and sky with right exposure and details now

a beach ~45minutes from Melaka town or ~2hours from Kuala Lumpur, a beach with quite lof rocks which can use for good landscape Sunset photography.

– good place for slow shutter too

– beach have quite alot of tiger beetle

Singh-Ray Reverse GND – RGND sample

just want to share some experience on the RGND … it is same function as GND but it gradual from center toward top part as picture below show

it use when the light source is stronger at center portion .. and sharing some picture using it either 2 or 3 stops …

a glass that may overkill a picture but it do help when the colors are there but our camera failed to capture it … a good sample to share here … and I will try to share some over kill pictures in near future …

Muar, Johor | liewwk

Muar, also known as Bandar Maharani is a town geopolitically situated in Muar District in the region or area of Muar in northwestern Johor, Malaysia. It is the main and biggest town of the bigger entity region or area of the same name, Muar which is sub-divided into the Muar district and the new Ledang district, which was upgraded into a full fledge district from the Tangkak sub-district earlier.[1] Muar district as the only district covering the whole area formerly borders Malacca in the northern part. Upon the upgrading of Ledang district, the Muar district now covers only the area south of Sungai Muar, whilst the northern area beyond the river is in within Ledang district. However, both divided administrative districts are still collectively and fondly called and referred to as the region or area of Muar as a whole by their residents and outsiders.

my Filter – GND .6s & RGND 2 stops | liewwk

it is not easy to tell how filter help us as landscape photographer … normally we face

1. either foreground correct exposure but the sky will be over or sky ok but foreground under

2. when light reach horizontal (sunset/sunrise last momet) … the center park of the light source use to over exposure with highlight blown …

and here is a simple picture show what filters I to get different results

filter or not .. and GND or RGND ????

– GND use up to the grass level

– RGND use up to the house
